Love Notes and Falling Petals

Hey there! How's your Wednesday going?! I've been busy getting ready for our trip to Phoenix and completely forgot to blog! YIKES!!! Well...here I am now, I hope you are inspired by my creation!

This is a card we were going to make at my February workshop in Redding. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my class because of flooding, but my ladies will still get this card and more...because they still placed orders! Yep...that's right...even if you cant make it to my class, you can still get that months projects just by placing an order through my online store or directly through me. I will either mail the completed projects to you or include them in your package. That way, you never have to miss anything!! This goes for NEW customers as well...I'd LOVE to be your demonstrator if ever you need anything!
First...I have to say...this card is BEAUTIFUL!!! To make this card I cut a card base of 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and used the Love Notes thinlits to cut the front edge. Next I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3 1/4" X 5 1/4" and embossed it with the Falling Petals embossing folder. Next I added a bow at the bottom using 1/8" Stitched Smoky Slate ribbon. I adhered the embossed cardstock using dimensionals to give it depth. Last I added Basic Rhinestones to the bottom of each heart along the edge. I have a card ministry at church so I'm using this card as an anniversary card, but I left it blank on the inside for my class so they could choose which sentiment they want to use! I LOVE this card...it's just SIMPLY ELEGANT!

Well...that's all I have for you this afternoon! I hope you love this card as much as I do AND I hope you find time to create today!  Thanks BUNCHES for always stopping by my blog to see what I've been up to...I so enjoy sharing with you!

Hi there crafty friends! Well...I'm trying to get ready for my trip to Phoenix! I have a workshop the day after we get back, so I'll be spending the day making kits! I can't wait to share those cards with you...they are beautiful, if I do say so myself!  Today I want to share one of the WONDERFUL cards I've been receiving in the mail from my upline and up-upline!

This GORGEOUS card is made with the new SALE-A-BRATION Glimmer Paper Assortment (available beginning today FREE with a $50 purchase before tax and shipping)!

The base of this card is Sweet Sugarplum with a layer of Whisper White.  The Stylish Stems thinlits were used to cut two flower out of the Whisper White layer and Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer paper was layered underneath to show through...STUNNING!  The leaves were cut, with the same Stylish Stems thinlits, from Mint Macaron Glimmer paper.  Any sentiment would work and I love how it's stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock!

Definitely Dahlia

Good Morning everyone! Hope all is well with you! I woke up with goopy eyes and a yucky cough! I can't be sick for my vacation next week.  I've been taking tons of Vitamin C...hope its a short version of what's going around!

I've been receiving some beautiful cards in the mail from my upline and up-upline and I want to share them with you!

This beauty is stamped with the Definitely Dahlia stamp set in Bermuda Bay with a dab of So Saffron in the center.  The Congrats is from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits. The two strips of designer paper at the bottom of the card are from the Subtles designer paper pack and the Cupcakes & Carousels 6" X 6" paper stack (my FAVORITE!!!).  Last a piece of Thick Baker's Twine (Bermuda Bay) was wrapped around the layers before being adhered to the Whisper White card base!  The layers are Whisper White (for stamped images), Bermuda Bay and then So Saffron. This is such a BEAUTIFUL card.  I'm gonna CASE (copy and share everything) it...but change it up a bit to make it my own and share it in one of my classes...because I LOVE IT!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me share what I love with you!  Have a FANTASTIC day...stay DRY and HEALTHY!!!

Timeless Tags, Sending Love and Calypso Coral

Hello there stampers!  Well...Fourteen Days of Love is finished! Hope you had a LOVELY Valentines Day!  We had orthodontic appointments...eye doctor appointments...all down the mountain. We did go out to dinner and anytime I don't have to cook is a treat...and I LOVE to cook...CRAZY!!

Today's card is from a Facebook Hop I participated in at the beginning of the month, but didn't share here because of my LOVE PROJECTS!

I just ADORE the new Stitched Framelits and that is what I used here for the center of the card.  I colored the Sending Love wooden flower embellishments with my Calypso Coral marker and glued them to the Whisper White stitched oval after stamping the stems with the Garden in Bloom stamp set.  The sentiment is from the That's the Tag stamp set and is stamped on a Stitched Circle in Memento Black ink. The first layer of my card is Calypso Coral cardstock that I embossed using the Polka Dot embossing folder.  I feel like I've just discovered Calypso Coral...it's such a BEAUTIFUL color! The GORGEOUS designer paper is from the Cupcakes and Carousels 6" X 6" designer paper stack...this is my FAVORITE designer paper right now! Those wonderful butterflies are cut with the Timeless Tags thinlits! Last...I used Bakers Twine to tie a bow on the sentiment circle!

I sure do thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I have to share! I hope you have a terrific day and find some time to create...it's such a relaxing time for me!  See ya tomorrow!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 14

Hello stamping friends!! Happy Valentines Day!! It's here...my final project!
Now...here's an easy project!  Make a Curvy Keepsake box in Daffodil Delight.  Cut glimmer hearts using the Love Notes framelits.  I hand cut the mouth and drew on the eyebrows.  I added a tag to the top with Linen Thread and a wooden Sending Love embellishment. The "BE MINE" sentiment is from the Bloomin' Love stamp set!  It's filled with Dark Chocolate Dove hearts!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hello again...YEP...another post today!  I didn't want to miss today's "Make-It Monday"! I hope you are INSPIRED!!!

"Make-It Monday": Cake Crazy card created with NEW Stampin' Up! products
All images © 1990-2017 Stampin’ Up!®

Image & page number of the full stamp set shown below the project instructions.

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set: Cake Crazy (142850)
  • Cardstock and Paper: Whisper White (100730) and Party Animal Designer Series Paper (142738)
  • Stampin’ Pad: Crushed Curry (131173), Emerald Envy (141396), Pacific Point (126951), and Tangerine Tango (126946)
  • Miscellaneous: Party Animal Designer Washi Tape (142743), Brights Enamel Shapes (141680), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), and Paper Snips (103579)

Measurements:

  • Whisper White card base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” then folded plus a piece 3” x 5-1/4” and 2-1/4” x 4-1/8”
  • Polka-dot sheet from Party Animal Designer Series Paper 4” x 5-1/4”

Instructions:

  1. Adhere Designer Series Paper onto Whisper White card base with SNAIL.
  2. On the smallest Whisper White piece, starting from the bottom, stamp the first cake layer using 3 different stamps and 2 colors (Pacific Point and Crushed Curry). First use Pacific Point and stamp the image with the solid line so the line is about 1/8” from the bottom of the cardstock . Then ink the diamond image with the curvy line in Pacific Point (don’t stamp yet!) and stamp off once then align image over already stamped image and stamp. Ink the diamond image that has no border with Crushed Curry, align over already stamped images and stamp.
  3. Stamp “Fantastic” in Tangerine Tango carefully so it almost touches the bottom cake layer and is in the center.
  4. Stamp row of stars in Crushed Curry.
  5. Stamp next cake layer with top and bottom lines in Pacific Point. Stamp companion piece also in Pacific Point but stamp off once before stamping onto darker cake layer image.
  6. Ink top cake layer with Pacific Point and stamp off before stamping.
  7. Ink candles with Pacific Point and stamp.
  8. Ink candle flame image with Crushed Curry and stamp.
  9. Temporarily set that piece over the middle sized Whisper White piece so you know where to next stamp the top and bottom sentiments in Emerald Envy.
  10. Once the sentiments are stamped, line right and bottom sides with the Emerald Envy washi tape. Using Paper Snips trim washi tape. Adhere to card front with SNAIL. Then add two strips of the Crushed Curry stars washi tape so it overlaps a tiny bit over the Emerald Envy washi. Trim with snips.
  11. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the cake piece to the middle Whisper White piece so it’s centered between the top and bottom sentiments.
  12. Sprinkle rhinestones and enamel shapes onto front of card.

Thanks AGAIN...for stopping by!  Have a WONDERFUL evening!  See ya tomorrow!
