COCOA anyone?

This project is FUN and SIMPLE....with SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!!
Wouldn't it be cute with Apple Cider and Cinnamon sticks,  Ice Tea Bags with a pouch of Lemonade (to make an ARNIE PALMER),  Coffee with Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans, Koolaid and a Pixie Stick...or even fill it with you favorite candybar!  What a GREAT treat to give someone...just to let them know they are on your mind!!!

I have been wanting to try this technique...where you adhere a shape (in this case the ornament) or another piece of cardstock or designer paper, together and then dry emboss it!  I have seen so many cards made this way, but have never created one...SO HERE YOU HAVE IT....my first attempt!  I love the simplicity of it, yet the real read ornament looks as though it is a part of the whisper white cardstock!  Everyone should try this....you simple cut or punch you paper....glue it down to your chosen cardstock (I glue it so that all of the edges are adhered and it really looks as though it is inlaid into the paper) then run it throught you BIG SHOT with you FAVORITE embossing folder!   HAVE FUN!!!!!

FLIGHT

I have been wanting to use this Elegant Bird Diecut that I bought several months ago.  I had an idea of what I wanted to do...kind of a tyedye thing!   Well a friend was sending an outfit to her granddaughter...kind of a hippie outfit with a PONCHO....so this was the time to bring out the diecut.  My original plan was to use a peace sign or the word peace...but I didn't think a three year old would get it!  I think peace and an all white embossed bird will make a beautiful Christmas card....maybe my next workshop....BE LOOKING FOR IT!!

SMASH Binder Cover

My daughter wanted me to make a page to slip into the front of her binder and this is what I came up with.  It isn't all Stampin' Up product...much of it is from before I was a demonstrator and for my retreats.  I had a blast doing it and my daughter loves it.  I want to do a SMASH book now with all of my FAVORITE quotes in it...I think it can be a GROOVY book!  What FUN....one more thing to add to my LIST OF THINGS TO DO!  Also working on a cookbook, workshops, retreats, being a mom, working part time....I WISH THERE WAS MORE TIME IN A DAY...or I NEEDED LESS SLEEP!

Olympic Rings

I entered this card in a contest where the theme was the Olympic Rings.  I wanted the words to be as meaningful as the rings!  I will find out tomorrow if my card is a winner......it sure made me think out of the box....I love those kind of challenges!  The crazy thing is the idea came to me a two in the morning one day....my brain works differently now that I am a demonstrator and having workshops....I THINK IN STAMPIN' UP COLORS!!

Setting Sun

I love this card....I used the masking technique to do the grass, sun and sky.  What a beautiful technique.  I also used the new Window Frames Framelits (found in the Holiday Catalog item # 129021) and theApothecary Framelits (found in the main catalog  item #127003).  The trees were added with one of my favorite stamp sets...Lovely As A Tree item# 127793 (clear).  The colors I used were Gumball Green, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit and Tempting Turquoise.  The ladies in my workshop did a great job learning this technique...it was FUN to see the different looks just by how much ink was sponged on!  GIVE IT A TRY!!!
