Cups and Kettle...with a Nice Cuppa

Hey there...good morning and how ya doing? We're on our way back to California! We had so much FUN...but I must admit...it will be GOOD to be home!

I have one last March workshop card to share with you! It's so dang CUTE! I just adore those Cups and Kettle framelit dies!  I used Brights designer paper, the It's My Party designer paper and a piece of Mint Macaron to cut the teacups out. I used the Timeless Textures and the Nice Cuppa stamp sets.  The colors I chose are Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Smoky Slate, Whisper White and Basic Black.  The teacups are layered with dimensionals and the "steam" is glued on with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

...don't forget to stamp that inside! I hope you don't get tired of me reminding you to do this! IT JUST ADDS SO MUCH!!

Well...that's it!  I'll be traveling for the next couple of days...so I probably won't be posting...UNLESS...I take a REALLY GROOVY photo!  Have a great day...THANKS for stopping by...and FIND TIME TO CREATE!!

We ran into snow and stayed the night in Yerington, Nevada...it was beautiful!!

Rose Wonder

Happy Monday friends!  All is well in Arizona....we'll be headed home soon! It's sad to leave my son and his fiance...we've had a great visit...but alas...we must get back to the real world!

This is another card we made in my March workshops.  Some of my ladies absolutely HATED making it...but others LOVED it...so I'll let you decide!  It was a bit messy! I used the Work of Art stamp set and stamped Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Tangelo Twist in the bottom corner...I inked the stamp...spritzed the stamp with water...and stamped the image to get the water color look. I did the same with Old Olive on the left side!  I used the Rose Garden Thinlits from the Occasions catalog to cut a rose in Whisper White and leaves in Old Olive, gluing them over the stamped images with Multipurpose Liquid glue. The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set which can be purchased with the thinlits as a bundle...saving you 15%.  I also used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set for the splotches!

....just a couple of stamped images on the inside...leaving it blank so you can write a nice note to that person who is such a "beautiful blessing" in your life! EVERYONE should get a homemade card once in a while!

That's all I have for you today...I hope you have a WONDERFUL day...find time to do the things you love...and time to create beautiful things!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Pedal Pusher

Good Morning! Well...the week is going by so fast! I just can't believe it's Thursday already!

I want to share another March workshop card...we made four so there are two more after today!  This card was made with the Pedal Pusher stamp set that is FREE with a $50 order. Of course being that I love cycling and so does my husband (him way more than me...I can't keep up)...I just had to get it! I heat embossed the bicycle with White embossing powder.  I also used the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set for the sentiment. It too is found in the Occasions catalog!!

I just love the neutral colors...Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Whisper White and Basic Black with a touch of Cherry Cobbler (heat embossed hearts)!  Gotta LOVE those metal buttons too! I hope you like it and will give it a try!

Just a few more vacation photos!

Thanks bunches for stopping by!  You'll never know how much it means to me! I LOVE to share what I LOVE doing!

The colors I chose are Whisper White, Smoky Slate and a touch of Bermuda Bay.  The stamp set I used is Big News.

It's such a BEAUTIFUL and ELEGANT card...but so simple to make!

Here's the inside of the card with the wedding sentiment!  Clean and simple! I think the ladies in my class loved it...they seemed to anyway!

Beautiful Ride

Hello Friends!  I have a QUICK card to share with you this morning!  I'm off to my workshop in Redding!  A couple of weeks ago I was asked to make a card for our pastor, as the church was giving him a new car (for work)...so I quickly had to come up with something.  It's not my best work, but it worked! I guess when I'm put on the spot...by creative juices don't flow a well. None the less..he LOVED the card...and the car. His son nicknamed his old card the Pastormobile (...this six year old is a FAN of Batman...and the BATMOBILE).  I used the Beautiful Ride stamp set, the Brick Wall embossing folder and some Washi Tape...the sentiment I made on the computer!

Thank you for checking in on my blog!  I hope you have a FABULOUS day and find time to CREATE!

Bravo

Hello everyone!  Happy Tuesday morning to you! I've been busy packing and cleaning and getting ready for our trip to Arizona, but I needed to make some Anniversary cards to send to some couples at church...(I have a new ministry sending birthday cards, anniversary cards, missing you cards, sympathy cards...it's what I love to do...make cards).  Well...I needed FOUR cards...FAST...so I made SIMPLE...BASIC cards and I like them!  My first card is made with the Bravo stamp set. I simply stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink and mounted it onto a piece of designer paper. I used a heart paperclip from clearance...40 clips in 4 designs for $2.78...item # 133765.

...SIMPLE...FAST...EASY...just what I needed! I have a few more to share with you so STAY TUNED!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a WONDERFUL DAY and find time to CREATE!

Botanicals For You

Hello everyone!  Well...the weekend is over and it's MONDAY!  I'm leaving on vacation this week and there is so much to do to get ready...and there is so much to do just with every day tasks...ONE THING AT A TIME! I do have a card to share with you...we made it at my February workshops. Hope you like it!

This card is made using the Botanicals For You stamp set that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration. March is the last month of Sale-a-Bration, so DON'T MISS OUT!  I also used the Botanicals Vellum from the SAB catalog.  First I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  Then I stamped flowers and stems around the sentiment.  I punched a few flowers with the Itty Bitty flower punch with Basic Pearl centers and added a metal button as well as a Melon Mambo button tied together with Bakers Twine from the Occasions Catalog.

As usual...I decorated the inside of the card as well.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set...Botanicals For You as well as the flowers. The colors I chose are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.  I LOVE this card...simple...clean and it goes together quickly.  I also love how it's laid out at an angle!

Thanks bunches for stopping by...I hope you find time to get out and create today!  HAVE FUN!

Party Wishes Happy Birthday!

Good morning crafty friends!  GOSH...it's been a while since I have posted! I have been so busy with kids coming home (to visit)...kids moving...wedding planning...venue exploring...wedding dress shopping...invitation creating...and to TOP IT OFF...my husband is home awaiting surgery. It's so hard to get things done when he is home! I hope all is well with you and yours and you found lots of time to create!

I have a card to share with you today that I saw on Pinterest.  I needed a card for a child...I didn't know what age he was turning or what he was in to...and my creative juices were NOT flowing...so Pinterest was a great help. I used the Party Wishes stamp set for the birthday sentiment. It says Happy Birthday, but I only inked the word birthday.  I punched out the word Happy with the Little Letters Thinlits.  The strips are cut 1/2" x 3" the bottom is punched using the Washi Label punch.  The colors I chose are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Pacific Point. I punched the stars using the Itty Bitty Star punch and the Basic Black background is dry embossed using the Lucky Stars embossing folder.  I painted some Wink of Stella on each of the embossed stars and the punched stars for a little sparkle.  It's hard to see in the photo, but it looks great!

Now don't forget the inside of your card!  I simply layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock and added some punched stars to the bottom. Of course they are punched in the same color as the front of the card and adhered in the same order!

SIMPLE and CUTE card!

Well...it's good to be back!  I have a few things up my sleeve to share with you and I'll be out creating more this week!  Thanks for stopping by and have a FABULOUS DAY!
