Love Notes and Falling Petals

Hey there! How's your Wednesday going?! I've been busy getting ready for our trip to Phoenix and completely forgot to blog! YIKES!!! Well...here I am now, I hope you are inspired by my creation!

This is a card we were going to make at my February workshop in Redding. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my class because of flooding, but my ladies will still get this card and more...because they still placed orders! Yep...that's right...even if you cant make it to my class, you can still get that months projects just by placing an order through my online store or directly through me. I will either mail the completed projects to you or include them in your package. That way, you never have to miss anything!! This goes for NEW customers as well...I'd LOVE to be your demonstrator if ever you need anything!
First...I have to say...this card is BEAUTIFUL!!! To make this card I cut a card base of 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and used the Love Notes thinlits to cut the front edge. Next I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3 1/4" X 5 1/4" and embossed it with the Falling Petals embossing folder. Next I added a bow at the bottom using 1/8" Stitched Smoky Slate ribbon. I adhered the embossed cardstock using dimensionals to give it depth. Last I added Basic Rhinestones to the bottom of each heart along the edge. I have a card ministry at church so I'm using this card as an anniversary card, but I left it blank on the inside for my class so they could choose which sentiment they want to use! I LOVE this card...it's just SIMPLY ELEGANT!

Well...that's all I have for you this afternoon! I hope you love this card as much as I do AND I hope you find time to create today!  Thanks BUNCHES for always stopping by my blog to see what I've been up to...I so enjoy sharing with you!

Definitely Dahlia

Good Morning everyone! Hope all is well with you! I woke up with goopy eyes and a yucky cough! I can't be sick for my vacation next week.  I've been taking tons of Vitamin C...hope its a short version of what's going around!

I've been receiving some beautiful cards in the mail from my upline and up-upline and I want to share them with you!

This beauty is stamped with the Definitely Dahlia stamp set in Bermuda Bay with a dab of So Saffron in the center.  The Congrats is from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits. The two strips of designer paper at the bottom of the card are from the Subtles designer paper pack and the Cupcakes & Carousels 6" X 6" paper stack (my FAVORITE!!!).  Last a piece of Thick Baker's Twine (Bermuda Bay) was wrapped around the layers before being adhered to the Whisper White card base!  The layers are Whisper White (for stamped images), Bermuda Bay and then So Saffron. This is such a BEAUTIFUL card.  I'm gonna CASE (copy and share everything) it...but change it up a bit to make it my own and share it in one of my classes...because I LOVE IT!!!

Timeless Tags, Sending Love and Calypso Coral

Hello there stampers!  Well...Fourteen Days of Love is finished! Hope you had a LOVELY Valentines Day!  We had orthodontic appointments...eye doctor appointments...all down the mountain. We did go out to dinner and anytime I don't have to cook is a treat...and I LOVE to cook...CRAZY!!

Today's card is from a Facebook Hop I participated in at the beginning of the month, but didn't share here because of my LOVE PROJECTS!

I just ADORE the new Stitched Framelits and that is what I used here for the center of the card.  I colored the Sending Love wooden flower embellishments with my Calypso Coral marker and glued them to the Whisper White stitched oval after stamping the stems with the Garden in Bloom stamp set.  The sentiment is from the That's the Tag stamp set and is stamped on a Stitched Circle in Memento Black ink. The first layer of my card is Calypso Coral cardstock that I embossed using the Polka Dot embossing folder.  I feel like I've just discovered Calypso Coral...it's such a BEAUTIFUL color! The GORGEOUS designer paper is from the Cupcakes and Carousels 6" X 6" designer paper stack...this is my FAVORITE designer paper right now! Those wonderful butterflies are cut with the Timeless Tags thinlits! Last...I used Bakers Twine to tie a bow on the sentiment circle!

I sure do thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I have to share! I hope you have a terrific day and find some time to create...it's such a relaxing time for me!  See ya tomorrow!

"Make-It Monday": Cake Crazy card created with NEW Stampin' Up! products
All images © 1990-2017 Stampin’ Up!®

Image & page number of the full stamp set shown below the project instructions.

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set: Cake Crazy (142850)
  • Cardstock and Paper: Whisper White (100730) and Party Animal Designer Series Paper (142738)
  • Stampin’ Pad: Crushed Curry (131173), Emerald Envy (141396), Pacific Point (126951), and Tangerine Tango (126946)
  • Miscellaneous: Party Animal Designer Washi Tape (142743), Brights Enamel Shapes (141680), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), and Paper Snips (103579)

Measurements:

  • Whisper White card base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” then folded plus a piece 3” x 5-1/4” and 2-1/4” x 4-1/8”
  • Polka-dot sheet from Party Animal Designer Series Paper 4” x 5-1/4”

Instructions:

  1. Adhere Designer Series Paper onto Whisper White card base with SNAIL.
  2. On the smallest Whisper White piece, starting from the bottom, stamp the first cake layer using 3 different stamps and 2 colors (Pacific Point and Crushed Curry). First use Pacific Point and stamp the image with the solid line so the line is about 1/8” from the bottom of the cardstock . Then ink the diamond image with the curvy line in Pacific Point (don’t stamp yet!) and stamp off once then align image over already stamped image and stamp. Ink the diamond image that has no border with Crushed Curry, align over already stamped images and stamp.
  3. Stamp “Fantastic” in Tangerine Tango carefully so it almost touches the bottom cake layer and is in the center.
  4. Stamp row of stars in Crushed Curry.
  5. Stamp next cake layer with top and bottom lines in Pacific Point. Stamp companion piece also in Pacific Point but stamp off once before stamping onto darker cake layer image.
  6. Ink top cake layer with Pacific Point and stamp off before stamping.
  7. Ink candles with Pacific Point and stamp.
  8. Ink candle flame image with Crushed Curry and stamp.
  9. Temporarily set that piece over the middle sized Whisper White piece so you know where to next stamp the top and bottom sentiments in Emerald Envy.
  10. Once the sentiments are stamped, line right and bottom sides with the Emerald Envy washi tape. Using Paper Snips trim washi tape. Adhere to card front with SNAIL. Then add two strips of the Crushed Curry stars washi tape so it overlaps a tiny bit over the Emerald Envy washi. Trim with snips.
  11. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the cake piece to the middle Whisper White piece so it’s centered between the top and bottom sentiments.
  12. Sprinkle rhinestones and enamel shapes onto front of card.

Thanks AGAIN...for stopping by!  Have a WONDERFUL evening!  See ya tomorrow!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 13

Hey stampers! It's a new week...are you ready for it?!?!  I have a quick share today...it's Day 13 of my Fourteen Days of Love projects!  I found these really cute jars at IKEA. I love them because they have two flat sides that are easy to decorate.  You can use any jar you have on hand too...just put your stamped image on the lid! It's EASY to change it up!

The Sealed with a Kiss sentiment is from the Sealed with Love stamp set.  I stamped it in Memento Black ink and then stamped the Real Red lips over the Kiss.  I punched it out with my 1 3/4" circle punch.  Next I punched a 2" Tempting Turquoise circle to adhere my sentiment to!  I tied a piece of Silver Metallic Ribbon around the neck of the jar. This ribbon is part of a combo pack with Gold Metallic ribbon and it is free with a $50 purchase before tax and shipping, during Sale-a-bration, 7 yards of each color!  Next I tied a piece of  Melon Mambo 1/8" Stitched Ribbon around the neck of the jar, but before tying the bow I slipped on a wooden Sending Love embellishment to add a little extra love.  I could have really blinged it up by adding some Basic Rhinestones around the lid and an both sides of "with a" in the sentiment...but I decided to keep it simple and I like it!

Well...that's it for today!  Thanks bunches for stopping by!  Have a FABULOUS rest of your day! I'll be back tomorrow with Day 14!!
Be sure to stop by!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 12

Hello there! Here we are Day 12 of my Fourteen Days of Love projects already! The time has flown by. Today is a quick and easy project. Big Cherry's are my husbands favorite candy and one fits just perfectly in a Clear Tiny Treat Box!
After I put the candy in the box, I tied Real Red and Whisper White Ribbon from the Sending Love combo pack.  I then stamped LOVE YOU several times onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Here's the tag up close. The sentiment is from the Bloomin' Love stamp set.  I stamped it over and over in Real Red ink. I colored a Sending Love wooden embellishment with my Real Red marker and tied it onto the tag and to the bows with Linen Thread! This came together quickly which is great because I've been in bed all day....SICK!!!

Well...that's it...back to resting for me!  I have a class this Wednesday and I CAN'T BE SICK!!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
See ya tomorrow!!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 11

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying your Saturday! Blue skies, sunshine, snow on the mountains...it's a BEAUTIFUL day here today! I want to share Day 11 of my Fourteen Days of Love projects with you!

This box is created with the Baker's Box Thinlits Die. I cut the box from Real Red cardstock and added a piece of Sending Love designer paper to the front and tied it together with a Whisper White and Real Red bow using the Sending Love Ribbon combo pack.  I punched two glimmer hearts in Red and Dazzling Diamonds.  I tied the glimmer hearts, a wooden Sending Love embellishment and the sentiment around the bow using Linen Thread. The sentiment is from the Sealed with Love stamp set.  I stamped the Hello Love in Real Red and the SWOOSH in Blushing Bride.  I filled the box with Dark Dove Chocolate hearts.

Well..that's it...only three days left! Come back tomorrow for Day 12 of my Fourteen Days of Love projects!  Thanks so very much for stopping in on your weekend! I hope you find time to create...and maybe give this project a try!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 10

Happy Friday!! The weekend is here and it's suppose to be nice weather! YIPPEE! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE the rain and that we are out of the drought...but a few days of sunshine before more storms come in sounds WONDERFUL!!!  I have a VERY SIMPLE project for Day 10 of Fourteen Days of Love...it's my daughter's 12th birthday and I have LOTS of things to do...make a cake, wrap her presents, make a card, cook some ribs...just to name a few!
I found these SUPER cute mini mason jars at Target a while back so I filled them with Sweet Tarts (one of my husbands favorite candies) and wrapped a piece of Pop of Pink Washi Tape around the edge of the lid.  I stamped the cute heart quartet using the Sealed with Love stamp set and Melon Mambo ink.  I used my piercing tool (because I still can't find my small hole punch) to poke a hole in the top, added a Sending Love wooden embellishment and tied it to the lid using Linen Thread, Linen Thread and Thick Baker's Twine and just Thick Bakers Twine...each lid is different! Super EASY and QUICK...just what I needed this morning! I LOVE my WASHI TAPE!

Well...thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend! Stop in Saturday and Sunday to see Day 11 and 12 projects!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 9

Hey there friends!  GOSH...I'm so late blogging today. I got home from Reno late last night and had to go to work today...so I'm behind!  I'm here now though and I have Day 9 of my Fourteen Days of Love projects!
For today's project I used the 2" X 8" cellophane bags and filled it with wrapped Hershey Nuggets...mine are gold because they are dark chocolate.  The silver ones are milk chocolate and that's what I have for my children. To wrap the nuggets cut your designer paper into 1" X 3" pieces. I used the Sending Love 6" X 6" paper pack. One sheet wraps 12 pieces of candy.
For the topper, I cut  a 2" X 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock and punched both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.  I scored it at 2" and adhered it to the bag (which I had already stapled shut) with Tear & Tape adhesive. I folded a gold Metallic Doily in half and adhered it to the cardstock.  I punched hearts using the Sweetheart punch from a piece of Real Red cardstock and a piece of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. I glued them together by placing a dot glue from the Fine Tip glue pen behind a few of the gold dots so the glue would not show.  Last I tied a bow through the tag hole using White Thick Bakers Twine.  What a FUN treat!  You can fit six nuggets in each bag!

Well...now it's time to go cook dinner! Thank goodness for leftovers and leftover spaghetti is THE BEST!!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I love sharing what I do with you! Sleep tight and I'll be back tomorrow!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 8

Good Morning! I'm headed to Reno, Nevada today with my husband on bicycle business...so I'm gonna quickly share today's Fourteen Days of Love project!

This ADORABLE bag came as a kit in the mail to me in a cute orange box!  YEP...it's a Paper Pumpkin Kit from January. It came with the bag, the tag, the pieces for the arrow, a cute stamp set which includes this sentiment and a Calypso Coral Ink Spot (square stamp pad). The only thing I added was the gold paper clip and the Gold Glimmer heart! It came together so quickly and holds about six Dove chocolate hearts!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you're having fun and finding inspiration as you follow my Fourteen Days of Love!  Have a GREAT day!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 7

Hello there! Here I am again with another treat from my Fourteen Days of Love projects
This cute little box holds a tube of lip balm that I made with my essential oils.  I used the Sealed with Love stamp set to stamp the KISS and LIPS in Blushing Bride onto a scrap piece of Whisper White.  I made the box with Sending Love 6" X 6" designer paper. I paper clipped it shut, added the sentiment and another scrap of designer paper cut into a banner, and tied a bow around the paperclip from Whisper White Sending Love ribbon.  SIMPLE and CUTE!
It's so fun making this lip balm and it feels so good!
See how it fits perfectly into the box!
To make the box you'll need a 4 1/4" X 4 1/4" piece of designer paper.  Score one side at 3/4" and 3 1/2". Turn and score at 1", 1 3/4", 2 1/2," and 3 1/4". This photo shows how to cut the tabs up to the 3/4" and 3 1/2" marks as well as cut the for corner rectangles completely out.  Fold it, adhere it and put your tube of lip balm inside.  CUTE & EASY

Well...that's it for today!  Thanks so much for following along as I share my Fourteen Days of Love projects!  I hope you are inspired to CREATE!

Fourteen Days of Love - Day 6

Hello there! TWICE in one day...hope you don't get tired of me! I was a little late getting my projects finished today so my husband and kiddos will get them after work...and after school! Good thing CHOCOLATE is good anytime of day! Today's CUTE little box is made with the Envelope Punch Board

I used Real Red and Bermuda Bay designer paper from the Brights Paper Pack.  The stamped heart is from the Sealed with love stamp set and I cut it out free hand. That cute Bermuda Bay heart is punched with the Sweetheart Punch.  The Whisper White Ribbon is from the Sending Love combo ribbon pack. You get 5 yards of Real Red and 5 yards of Whisper White ribbon for $7.00-item# 142737.

To create this box you start with a piece of 6" X 6" designer paper.  Punch and score at 1 1/2" and 4" on the FIRST side. Then use the score lines as guides on the following 3 sides to complete 8 punches and scores (two on each side).  Below you will see what I mean...line the punch tab up with the score line!
Here it is up close...see how that tab lines up with the score line.

Here it is cut and ready to fold.

I'm hoping that this shows you how to fold it up!

Here it is all folded up and ready to fill with your LOVES favorite candy!

Super CUTE and FUN little box to fill with treats of love!

Well..that's it for today....two posts in one day...that's a record for me! I hope you are inspired to make some of these cute little boxes. If you have any questions, please ask...I'm happy to help!  Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a FANTASTIC week!
