14 Days of Love - Day 8

Good Morning...good morning...good morning!  Hey...it's been snowing since 4am here in Weaverville and it's OH SO BEAUTIFUL! We've only gotten about 4 inches of snow, but the roads are really slick so they cancelled school! Kate's baking cupcakes and Adam's hanging with me...playing fetch with Millie! My husband was called out at 2am but just got home...YAY!  He's NEVER home when it's snowing because the power always goes out somewhere in Trinity County! I just this minute got a call from another son. Seth, he has to come this way for work...and he's bringing Clyde and Chester (his bulldogs) to see their first snow! I'm HAPPY as a clam!

It's Day 8 of my 14 Days of Love treat holders...this one is FUN and EASY!!!

This treat holder is a decorated Mini Pizza Box. You get eight of them for $6.00 and you can find them in my Stampin' UP! store...item# 144645.

Of course I used Painted with Love designer paper.  I cut a 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" piece and adhered it to the top of the pizza box. I used a large gold doily for my next layer.  I cut a Berry Burst heart using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlit dies. The sentiment is from the Sure do Love You stamp set. It is stamped on Powder Pink cardstock with Memento Black ink. It is cut out with the Lots of Love framelit dies!

A cool thing about these boxes is that they have a coating on the inside so I plan to fill my with two sugar cookies (my husbands favorite cookie) and the grease won't go through the box. He's gonna LOVE this treat!

That's what I've got for you today! I'm off to watch a movie with the family...weird at 9:51 in the morning but so much fun!  We have a cozy fire, popcorn and we can watch it snow as we watch our movie! THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!
