Party Panda's FUN!!!

Good morning everyone! Here it is Friday already! Boy time just flies by! We've been having SEVERE WEATHER warnings the last few days so I've been sticking close to home just in case, but it's been a dud of a storm where I live. I have mixed emotions about that...I REALLY want to have a bunch of snow (for a few days), but my husband ALWAYS has to work long hours because the power ALWAYS goes out in certain places.  Last night he worked all night in Hyampom, which is about an 1 1/2 hours of treacherous mountain driving from where we live. He made it home about  4am this morning and said it was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The moon was full, there was over six inches of snow and it was almost day like as the moon reflected onto the snow. SADLY...he didn't take any pictures....he had to get the power back on...but he did think about it which made me happy!

Enough about that! Today I want to share a fun project that I made on Tuesday with my adult special needs group. Many of you know how excited I was to start working with these folks and to be able to give something back to the community!  I have to share with you that I have been so blessed by this group! I thought I had something to offer them, but they give so much more to me...it's INCREDIBLE!

These are the projects that I had for the group to create!  I used the Party Panda stamp set which is FREE during Sale-a-Bration. I started with a Whisper White card base and a 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock as the first layer.  The 4" X 5 1/4" designer paper layer is from the Fresh Florals paper pack. I stamped on a 2 3/4" X 3 3/4" of Whisper White cardstock, colored with my Stampin' Blends and adhered the stamped image to a 3" X 4" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. I then attached it to my card base with dimensionals. I also attached Tutti Frutti Sequins...just for FUN!!!

Next we wrapped some Hershey Nuggets with 1" X 3" pieces of the same designer paper, placed the into a 2" X 8" Cellophane bag and attached a topper with an FUSSY CUT birthday panda!  Of course we had to eat some of the chocolate too!

It was such a fun class and they are so proud of their creations! They are so uninhibited! They help each other and encourage each other and JUST HAVE FUN!  The conversations are WONDERFUL...I find myself giggling a lot because they don't hold back AT ALL!  I'm having a wonderful time sharing what I love to do with these guys and gals!

Here are their CREATIONS!!!

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today! I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend! Carve out just a bit of time to create...it's good for you!

Love what you have
