Ride a Bike...#GDP132

Hello everyone!  I hope you have had a WONDERFUL weekend! We went to see Miracle Game yesterday as a family and I cried through the entire movie! It was really good! I also got the taxes completed AND found some TREASURES at Rust & Roses!

I don't normally post on weekends, but yesterday was our Stampin' for Others Facebook Hop and today I really want to enter a challenge!  I want to start doing this more often as it gets me out of my comfort zone, but it also helps me think out of the box!!

The challenge I'm entering is with  the Global Design Project.  Here is a link to that challenge so you can see other entries.... #GDP132 ...I know you will find many great creations!

First, I'd like to show you the challenge card! It's ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!  I LOVE the Petal Palette stamp set as you can tell by my last couple of posts!

Here is my entry...I hope you are INSPIRED to create! I wanted to think out of the box so I basically CASE'd (copy and selectively edit) the design!

My card base is Pool Party cardstock with the first layer a  4 1/8" X 5 3/8" piece of Basic Black cardstock.  I used my "E" acrylic block to stamp onto a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I did this by using my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker to "paint" my block then spritzed it with water using the Stampin' Spritzer and stamped it directly onto the Whisper White cardstock.  I LOVE this look! While it was drying I stamped my bicycle with the Ride a Bike stamp set.  It is stamped in Bermuda Bay and cut out with the Build a Bike framelits. These currently can be purchased as a bundle through my store!!  I stamped the wheels in Memento Black and Pool Party inks and cut them out (along with the Basic Black seat) using the same framelits! I attached the bike and wheels with dimensionals!  The sentiment is from the from the Wherever You Go stamp set and is stamped in Memento Black ink. I added some texture by stamping the blotches using the Touches of Texture stamp set and Crushed Curry ink. Last I added a heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes embellishments.  I really LOVE how it turned out and hope you do too!

THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by today!  You know I LOVE sharing what I LOVE to do...with YOU!!  I'll keep you posted on how I do in the challenge!
