Little Elephant

Hello there everyone!  It's another BEAUTIFUL day...hope it is where you are too!  Thanks for stopping in today to see what's up in my paper crafting world! Today is the last day of school!  YAY!!! I'm so excited!  My son got a job at our local ACE Hardware and my daughter will be making her cupcakes.  We have one vacation planned in August! YAY!!  It should be a relaxing summer!

I had a friend who needed seven cards and one was a birthday card for a baby.  Here's what I created for her!  My card base is the new Blueberry Bushel and measures 8 1/2" X 5 1/2".  The first mat is Whisper White and is 4" X 5 1/4".  The next mat is Mango Melody and is 3 3/4" X 5".  I embossed the Mango Melody piece using the Oh My Stars embossing folder.  Next I cut a Whisper White circle frame using my Stitched Shapes framelits. I used the same framelits to cut the oval as well.  The I chose the Little Elephant stamp set and stamped the strip across the oval in Mango Melody as well as the balloons.  The adorable elephant is from the same set and is stamped in Blueberry Bushel.  The ribbon is 1/8" Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain.  I'm looking at my photo as I type this and it's kind of dark...making the blue look like Night of Navy.  Both would work actually but I wanted you to see the NEW color.  I can't take another photo because I've already delivered the card...sorry about that.  Still its a cute birthday card for a little guy...FESTIVE and FUN!
