Rooted In Nature - POPPY PARADE

Good morning everyone!!! HAPPY Friday!! Finally it’s here!  This was a loooong, short weekend!  I can’t wait ‘til schools out!  Come August you’ll be hearing me say...I can’t wait ‘til school starts!! Hahaha...never satisfied!

Guess what else is here!  IT'S TIME FOR THE NEW CATALOG!  You can order from it today...YAY!!!  

I have a card I created with the Rooted In Nature stamp set to share with you today!  It was one of the sets that demonstrators could pre-order and I've had fun with it!

My card base is Basic Black with a 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock as the first layer.  My next layer is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of COASTAL CABANA (YAY...it's back) cardstock that is embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Next I stamped my image with Poppy Parade and Basic Black ink...using my Stampin' Write Markers to color the stamp.  I used a new to me water color technique for the background (I'll be making a video soon). The image is stamped onto a 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock and mounted onto a 3 3/8" X 3 3/8" piece of Basic Black cardstock.  I attached the stamped image with dimensionals. Last I stamped the sentiment (also from Rooted In Nature pg. 143 in the new catalog), onto a small square cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits. I wrapped some black bakers twine around it to finish it of and also attached it with dimensionals!
