I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2010 and love ALL THINGS paper crafting. I also have a scrapbooking retreat business called Scrap Happens Retreats. I love teaching and learning new techniques, sharing ideas, hosting my retreats, being a wife and a mom. Hiking, bicycling, gardening and cooking are a few of my other hobbies. "Make-It Monday" Winter Woods

Good Morning everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK!!! Yesterday my son, Erik and his girlfriend, Robin arrived from Arizona!  It's so great to see them and to have an ENTIRE WEEK to be with them.  Adam and Kate have NO SCHOOL this week as well...YAY!  The rest of my children will trickle in Wednesday or Thursday!  I'm in my HAPPY PLACE having my family together! 

It's Monday, so it's time for this weeks "Make-It Monday" inspiration!  I LOVE the Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes! ENJOY!


"Make-It Monday": WINTER WOODS dinner invitation created with Stampin' Up! products

Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Winter Woods (147661 Clear, 147658 Wood)
  • PAPER: Silver Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes (147900), Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper,  Gray Granite Cardstock (146983), Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
  • INK: Tranquil Tide (147146),  Gray Granite (147118)
  • OTHER: Tranquil Tide ¼” Velvet Ribbon (147802), Layering Ovals Framelits (141706), Bunch of Banners Framelits (141488), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), a good printer than can handle cardstock (I use a laser printer)
Measurements:  
  • Gray Granite: 5"x 3-3/4"
  • Whisper White: 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" plus scrap about 3" x 1"
  • Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper: scrap at least 2-1/2" x 1"
  • Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon: 3-3/4"
         
Instructions:

  1. Run card base through your printer to create the inside of your invitation.
  2. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap with Tranquil Tide ink then die cut with one of the Bunch of Banners Framelits. 
  3. Die cut oval from Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper. Adhere sentiment to oval with Mini Glue Dots. Lay oval in center of Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Set aside to dry. Once dry, trim edges of ribbon on a diagonal.
  4. Stamp trees with Gray Granite ink onto Whisper White panel. Adhere to Gray Granite layer with SNAIL Adhesive.
  5. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere main focal piece onto card front making sure to not have white area showing beneath where it touches the silver border.
  6. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere ribbon piece onto card front. Allow to dry.
